Dear ,

In this issue, we'll continue to compare our latest din-rail mountable interface modules to their original counter products.  At Carotron, we're always looking for ways to improve our controls while continuing to make the older models available.  Whether you want the latest releases in controls or wish to continue using the original model, we can assist with your needs either way.

If you're a Carotron distributor, these comparisons will give you a better understanding of our new and improved controls so you'll be able to pass along this information to your customers.

Today let's compare the new LCA210-000 Load Cell Amplifier Module with our older Precision Bipolar Isolation Card Model D10562-000.

Model LCA210-000:

> +24VDC powered with 3-Way Isolation
> More compact module (takes up less space)
> Quicker and easier to install with Din-Rail Mountable design (minimize downtime at your facility)
> Protective cover shields circuit board from ingress of dust, fibers, lint, etc.
> No summing input
> No meter output
> Adjustable loadcell excitation voltage 5-12VDC
> No trim range adjustment; Ext. trim pot has full range

Model D10562-000:

> 115/230 VAC Powered
> Larger in size
> Bracket mount
> Aux (summing) input
> Meter output
> Fixed loadcell excitation voltage of 5v or 10v
> Open board, no cover
