As you may have noticed, Carotron has been busy adding new exciting services and products.  I've already shared information with you about our NEW Electronic Repair Service in January's issue.  Today, I'd like to highlight another new partner service, Drive Source International (DSI).

Carotron has recently partnered with DSI/Dynamatic®, formerly Eaton Dynamatic, to offer Dynamatic® brand products, parts and services.  DSI stocks thousands of products and parts including the tried and true Eddy-current drives as well as factory replacement parts.  Other services include a preventive maintenance program, remanufacturing services, and upgraded digital controls for all brands of vintage Eddy-current drives.

What are some benefits of using Eddy-current drive technology?

Dynamatic® Eddy-current drives help to minimize the cost of downtime in certain applications, including chain conveyors, automotive test stands, tension controls and winders, and high-torque applications.  The drives are also simplistic in design with fewer parts to wear out.  Industries that can benefit include water/wastewater, wire and cable, textile, chemical, asphalt/aggregate, metal forming, plastic and rubber, and pulp and paper.
